Dallas Cowboys DE to miss postseason after one-year suspension by NFL

Apparently 14 games wasn't enough.

Apparently 14 games wasn't enough.

After serving two separate suspensions of the NFL substance abuse policy this season, Cowboys defensive end Randy Gregory has now been suspended for a full year following a third violation.

Gregory had recently returned to the Cowboys following that suspension, and he was expected to be a big part of the Cowboys' pass rush in the postseason. However, Gregory will now be ineligible for the postseason, and he will not be able to apply for reinstatement until November.

Gregory is a former second round pick from the 2015 NFL Draft. He had nine tackles and one sack in two games of play this season.
