Deshaun Watson is a pretty great quarterback and everyone knows that by now, especially after what he did to Alabama in the National Championship Game two years in a row. In fact, he destroyed the Crimson Tide both times he played them:

Both those games were taken into account when he won the Manning Award last year and again this year. It's the only award that takes into account bowl games stats and in its 13-year history it has never been given to the same person twice in a row. That is, until now.

Watson played in four career postseason games —- when he won the two awards —- and earned MVP honors in three of those contests. In those four games, he threw for 1,271 yards and nine touchdowns. In two College Football Playoff National Championship games against Alabama's vaunted defense, he tallied those stats in graphic above as well as seven touchdowns.
