Oklahoma's top returning receiver, Dede Westbrook, was arrested back in late May on a charge of criminal trespass. Details were murky at the time, but thanks to The Oklahoman, we have some more clarity on the situation, and it is a lot to digest.

According to the report, police were called to a house in Cameron, Texas, with the caller stating that there was a male in her house who was not supposed to be there.
When officers arrived, they found a car belonging to Brenda Vega blocking the driveway so that Westbrook's truck could not leave.
The report states that Westbrook fully complied with the officers, and that Vega was the one escalating the situation by using racial epithets.
When an officer informed Vega that Westbrook's truck would not be towed, she became more aggravated and said she did "not do black people" and used the n-word in stating that she did not want Westbrook on her property.

Westbrook was later arrested on the criminal trespass charge, which is a misdemeanor. He was released just three hours after the arrest, according to the report.
It will be interesting to see if Westbrook gets away clean from this, because judging by the report, he did nothing wrong and fully complied with the officers involved. At the very least, it shouldn't interfere with his playing time at Oklahoma, as he is coming off of a breakout season of 746 yards and four touchdowns.
