Cowboys' star Dez Bryant reveals a surprising revelation about the 2017-18 team

This is a bold opinion.

Dallas Cowboys' star wideout Dez Bryant thinks the 2017-18 Cowboys are the best team that he's ever played for.

Bryant revealed this nugget Wednesday afternoon to Cowboys' beat writer Clarence Hill Jr. when talking about the upcoming season. He did mention, too, that he's more "focused and motivated like never before."

Hill Jr. after the response to the tweet, immediately reaffirmed that Bryant did indeed say that this is the best Dallas team that he's played on his career.

It's going to be hard to top the 2016-17 season for the Cowboys, even if it did end in a loss at home to the Green Bay Packers in their first playoff game. Still, the team were the No. 1 seed in the NFC this past postseason, but Bryant thinks this current team is better.

Maybe he's right — Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott are a year older, the team added a bunch of new bodies on defense in the 2017 NFL Draft, and the team is certainly in a position to contend for a Super Bowl again this season.

Bryant reeled in 50 receptions for 796 yards and eight touchdowns last season.
