Duke transfer drops West Coast heavy list of potential new schools

That is a lot of schools too.

Chase Jeter decided last month that he was going to transfer out of Duke after not playing much the last two seasons. He averaged 2.1 points and 2.2 rebounds over 48 games and decided that he was willing to wait a year and then contribute in a bigger role elsewhere at potentially one of these schools:

Jeter will have to sit out a year per NCAA transfer rules, but could join a long list of guys who made a name for themselves after switching teams. Guys like Kyle Wiltjer (Kentucky to Gonzaga), Jae Crowder, Jimmy Butler and Johnathan Williams (Missouri to Gonzaga) are on that list so it's not out of the realm of possibility that he could become a great player for someone else in two years.

Jeter is from Las Vegas, which would explain his list of schools that is West Coast-centric.
