Jeter will have to sit out a year per NCAA transfer rules, but could join a long list of guys who made a name for themselves after switching teams. Guys like Kyle Wiltjer (Kentucky to Gonzaga), Jae Crowder, Jimmy Butler and Johnathan Williams (Missouri to Gonzaga) are on that list so it's not out of the realm of possibility that he could become a great player for someone else in two years.
Jeter is from Las Vegas, which would explain his list of schools that is West Coast-centric.
