ESPN analyst predicts a Carmelo Anthony trade could open the door for LeBron James to leave Cleveland again

Would be break Cleveland's heart again?

Melo AND LeBron to the the LA Clippers?

That's what ESPN talking head Max Kellerman thinks. In a First Take  segment on ESPN, he believes the Clippers are positioned to  fleece the "stupid" Knicks, and if that happens, LeBron will follow him.

"The dumbest, least functional organizations are the ones you can rob in a trade," he said. He noted that the Clippers are likely thinking, "We're going to be able to get Carmelo  and not really give up anything because that's a stupid organization, the Knicks."

He went on the say that if Dan Gilbert, the owner of the Cleveland Cavaliers, continues to "alienate" LeBron James, the King could head west and play with his buddies Melo and Chris Paul.

Let's forget, for a minute, that there are all types of reasons — financial and personnel  wise — a CP3, Melo and LeBron pairing would be very hard to pull off. First, there are the salary  cap restrictions that would limit earnings (maybe that's not a thing since all three of those guys are loaded.). Also, you'd have a team with the three top players at the back end of their careers, in their mid 30s, and old teams tend not to do well — no matter how great the players are (Kobe, anyone?)

But there's the big  thing — would LeBron break Cleveland's heart again?

Who knows what will happen, but it's an interesting talking point.
