ESPN gets a needed win in the hiring column, adds new host to College Football Live

Great hire by ESPN.

It's about time that ESPN got a win in the hiring column.

After months of employees jumping ship to rival networks, ESPN executives are likely happy to hear that Molly McGrath will be rejoining the network to host college football and basketball coverage.

"It is great to welcome Molly back to ESPN," ESPN producer Lee Fitting said in a statement. "Versatility is one of her many strengths that will be on display throughout the college football and basketball seasons."

McGrath will join College Football Live as a host starting in August. She will also be a sideline reporter for college basketball once the season starts up in November.

In the past, McGrath worked as a production assistant for ESPN, before departing to work with the Celtics, and later for Fox Sports 1.

Even though ESPN has lost some veteran names this year, they are probably very happy to add a young, experienced name like McGrath to their lineup. She should do well in her new positions.
