ESPN names Florida's biggest concern and somehow it isn't the QB

This is pretty surprising.

ESPN has gone through and given the biggest concerns for every team in its top 25 for the season. They got to the Florida Gators and while most fans would believe that the quarterback is the biggest concern for this season, ESPN believed it was something else.

SEC analyst Edward Aschoff believes that while the Gators don't really have an answer at quarterback, the offensive line is where the biggest issue is with the team.

"The Gators will definitely have to figure out their slim situation at linebacker, but the offensive line went from the darlings of spring to overpowered in the spring game. Four starters are back, and word was that this group took mighty steps forward during the 14 practices leading up to the spring game. But once the lights went on, Florida's line shrank and looked more like last season's struggling group."

While he makes a good point about the line shrinking during the spring game, it's pretty difficult to really gauge improvement in a glorified scrimmage setting. Especially one where the first teams aren't playing against each other. While it's important to have the QB protected by a decent offensive line, it's just as important to know who the quarterback will be that the big boys are protecting.

While Feleipe Franks has taken strides to become the starter, he hasn't exactly proven anything with his spring game performance and has yet to see a minute of playing time in a real game since he was redshirted last season. He has the arm strength, but it will be a matter of making reads and becoming accurate if he wants to keep the starting spot right now. Should Luke Del Rio win it back, he showed that he is a decent enough QB, but fans want to see excellent at the position they haven't seen since Tim Tebow.
