Finally, Roberto Aguayo had a good night kicking the football

Tampa kicker's perfect night comes at the perfect time

Tampa kicker Robert Aquayo did an about face Friday, converting all six of his attempts in a 30-13 victory over the Browns. And with the preseason drawing to a close next week, he picked a pretty good time to show.

Aguayo drilled three field goals of 48, 21, and 27 yards, and converted all three extra point attempts. The Bucs traded up to select the rookie out of Florida State in the second round of the draft, and he may have been headed for the door after missing two fields and an extra point in his first two preseason appearances. A handful of misses last week in practice only fueled speculation that he might not make the roster.

For now, though, Aguayo's perfect night has everyone remembering that he's the same highly-touted kicker who made 88. 5 percent of his field goals and 100 percent of his extra points at FSU.
