Brandon McCoy is a legit seven-footer in the class of 2017 and he's finally got his list down to five schools he's looking at right now. In an interview with Scout, McCoy said that Oregon, Arizona, Michigan State, San Diego State and UNLV are his top schools right now.

McCoy is a San Diego native so the smaller Aztecs aren't a total surprise there, but it seems he draws the line on going east as far as Lansing, Michigan. The 7'0", 235-pound center is ranked as the No. 8 player in the class by Scout and the No. 5 center by the service as well.
McCoy is a smooth seven-footer who has range everywhere inside the three-point line and has great touch on his shot. He has an array of moves around the basket and is comfortable dribbling the ball more than twice if needed and is pretty athletic for his size. It also helps he's an aggressive defender and can protect the rim with his size.
