Florida fans have had a rough summer with tons of suspensions being handed down and the team not getting picked by anyone to win the SEC East. One of those suspensions was for receiver Antonio Callaway after dealing with a sexual assault allegation.

However, the star sophomore receiver was found not responsible for committing sexual assault or violating the student code of conduct. That ruling ended a process that began in January and forced Callaway from campus until June. It saw Treon Harris transfer away from the University as well for his involvement in the case.

With no clear decision reached on Callaway's ability to play in the season opener, it was a nice change of pace to get some positive news about him. Coach Jim McElwain said that the Gators will have Callaway for the game against UMass this weekend:
And the starting quarterback in Luke Del Rio is pretty excited about having one of the Gators' best weapons available for his first game as a starter:
Callaway finished his freshman season with 35 receptions for 678 yards and four touchdowns.
