Florida football has an Honorary Mr.Two Bits for every home game to perform the traditional Two-Bits cheer for the crowd right before kickoff. They are usually former players or prominent members of Florida's athletic past — former greats such as Lito Sheppard, Titus O'Neil and running back Errict Rhett have all been selected before.

Florida (3-0, 1-0) takes on Tennessee (2-1, 0-0) this Saturday at 3:30 p.m. On Tuesday, Florida football announced that former Gator defensive end Alex Brown would be the Honorary Mr. Two Bits for Saturday's game. Brown had one of the most memorable defensive performances during the 1999 game against the Vols.
On Sept. 18, 1999, Brown had five sacks on Tennessee quarterback Tee Martin. He also batted down two passes, forced a fumble and made an interception in to help Florida beat Tennessee 23-21 defeat of the defending national champion Volunteers at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.
