At 5'11" and 234 pounds, Green had 212 carries over his career with Michigan, totaling 898 yards and seven touchdowns. As a graduate transfer, he'll be eligible to line up immediately behind either sophomore Foster Sawyer or highly-touted incoming Texas A&M transfer Kenny Hill.
With standout running back Aaron Green now with the St. Louis Rams in the NFL, door is open for Derrick Green to take over the starting gig.
