Former Florida State kicker Roberto Aguayo officially moved onto the next stage of his football career on Friday night. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who held the 59th overall pick in the second round of the NFL Draft from Chicago, Il., selected Aguayo, who left Florida State as the most accurate kicker in college football history with a with a .9673 conversion rate (267-of-276) surpassing the previous record of .9667 set by Nebraska's Alex Henery.

Aguayo becomes the highest drafted kicker sinceis the highest drafted kicker since the New York Jets selected Mike Nugent with the 47th pick in 2005. In Tampa, Aguayo will be reunited with his former teammate, quarterback Jameis Winston. Winston tweeted a message of support of the Bucs' decision on Friday night from his Twitter account.
