Former National Championship-winning QB under investigation for sexual assault

Hopefully this ends well for all parties involved.

Former Florida quarterback Chris Leak is being investigated for an alleged sexual assault of a 16-year old girl, according to Orlando police. The 31-year old Leak has not been charged with a crime and the investigation is ongoing.

Leak just resigned from Edgewater High School in Orlando as the head football coach after leading the team to an 0-5 record. He could not be reached for comment on Wednesday.

Leak is most known for leading the Florida Gators to the BCS National Championship in 2006 and has over 11,000 career passing yards, good for third in the SEC all-time (since 1956).

According to the Orlando Sentinel report, Leak came out of a shower in the athletic trainer's office wearing only a towel and asked the girl for a massage. The girl told police she massaged the back of his legs before Leak pulled her hands up to touch his genitals, and her hand made contact. The girl left after the alleged incident, and, according to the report, was very upset when discussing it with police.
