Barnes told 247Sports the Buckeyes "definitely moved up" on his list, and he said Florida, Auburn and North Carolina were also high on his list.

Barnes attended a scrimmage at Ohio State, and he met with Urban Meyer and some assistant coaches during his visit.

"They made it clear that they want me here," Barnes said. "They definitely see me playing on their line if I work hard for it."

Barnes said he doesn't plan on committing until National Signing Day, though that could change. He also said education is his "top priority" when selecting a school.

The 6'4, 312-pound tackle from Apopka, Florida is the No. 7 offensive tackle in the Class of 2018 according to 247Sports. He is the No. 18 player from the state of Florida and the No. 74 overall player in the country.

The 247Sports Crystal Ball predicts Barnes will commit to Florida.
