New Minnesota head coach P.J. Fleck had done a good job at flipping some of his Western Michigan commits, but this might be a much bigger get for him; securing out-of-state commits is going to be a major part of recruiting for Fleck in his new position, and grabbing a top recruit from Alabama is a good start for that.
Minnesota now has 22 commitments for their 2017 recruiting class. Handy-Holy is their second-highest rated commitment, per 247Sports.
