Shannon Sharpe has decided to go against the grain of co-host Skip Bayless's apparent Tom Brady man crush.
Friday on Fox Sports 1's Undisputed with Skip and Shannon, Sharpe called Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan the best player in the league.
"I know everybody 's talkin' about Tom Brady, how he's come back and look good," Sharpe said. "But right now Matt Ryan's the MVP of the NFL."

And he may not just be talking out of turn. Although Atlanta just snapped a two-game skid with its second consecutive victory over the Buccaneers Thursday night, Ryan's stellar play is the bulk of the reason. He leads the league in passing yards (2,980), passing touchdowns (23), and he's second to Tom Brady in completion percentage (69.6).
