FSU defender gets ejected on targeting call, but that may not be the worst part

This was a rough sequence for FSU.

Florida State defensive back Trey Marshall was ejected from the game against Clemson early in the fourth quarter for a pretty clear targeting call. Mike Williams had just come down with a reception and Marshall absolutely lit him up with the crown of his helmet as Williams was deemed defenseless.

Here's several angles of the hit and you'll see that this was a pretty clear targeting:

Marshall will not be eligible to play next week against N.C. State for the Seminoles and he had to go back to the medical tent to get checked out. He looked pretty confused coming off the field and if I had to guess, he will likely enter the concussion protocol this week.
