Giants should be furious after critical fourth-down call was blown by the refs

The fourth-down no-call didn't completely blow the game for the Giants, but it didn't help.

Down five with less than two minutes to go, the New York Giants were driving the field against the Philadelphia Eagles.

On a key fourth down play, wideout Sterling Shepard was clearly interfered with only to see no call on the play.

The Giants, with all three of their timeouts, managed to stop the Eagles and take only about 20 seconds off the clock before driving the field yet again.

Quarterback Eli Manning would be intercepted in the end zone and Philly managed to survive with the win.

After the contest, ESPN Kevin Seifert made it clear the Shepard play should have been called:

"I can't imagine an interpretation of the NFL rulebook that wouldn't agree that Nolan Carroll interfered with Giants WR Sterling Shepard."

The fourth-down no-call didn't blow the game for the Giants, but it certainly could have helped.
