If we are talking about the most meaningful or most important catch — New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham's circus catch Sunday night wouldn't be on this list. His TD grab was wasted because the Cowboys beat the Giants 31-28.

However, based on pure athleticism:
1) Odell Beckham Jr. made the best catch of all time. Beckham was pushed and while he was falling down, twisted his body to make sure he stayed in bounds threw his arm behind his head and caught the ball with THREE fingers. He didn't even use his entire hand to catch the ball. How is that possible? For the rest of our lives, we will see the Beckham Jr. catch and be amazed at it every single time.
2) David Tyree's miracle catch in Super Bowl XLII. I still remember jumping out of my chair when Eli Manning found David Tyree in the middle of the field. Tyree caught the ball using his helmet like if there was gum on the side of it as Patriots safety Rodney Harrison was all over him. The Giants gained 32 yards on the play. Tyree's catch set up Plaxico Burress' TD four plays later. The Giants won the Super Bowl and ended the Patriots' undefeated season.
3) Dwight Clark's "The Catch." Joe Montana rolled right — and with a wall of Cowboys defenders in his face — the 49ers QB chucked the ball into the endzone. Dwight Clark was there to make the catch in the back of the endzone — leaping as high as he could. The catch in the 1982 NFC Championship game signaled the start of San Francisco's dynasty and the end of the Cowboys years of greatness. Clark's catch is one of the most memorable plays in NFL history.
4) Franco Harris' immaculate reception. It's one of the craziest catches in NFL history. With 30 seconds left in the 1972 AFC Divisional Playoff game, Pittsburgh Steelers QB Terry Bradshaw threw a pass to John Fuqua, but he was immediately hit. The ball floated in the air long enough for Harris to make the reception right before it hit the ground. Harris ran it into the endzone, which turned out to be the game-winning score.
5) Santonio Holmes keeps feet in bounds in Super Bowl XLIII. Ben Roethlisberger threw one of the best passes when he delivered this strike to Santonio Holmes in the corner of the endzone. In such a tiny space, Holmes managed to keep his feet in bounds, securing the Steelers Super Bowl victory over the Arizona Cardinals. Not only is it one of the best catches ever, it needs to be considered one of the best passes of all-time.
