Highly coveted cornerback finally makes his decision and the "DBU" debate will carry on

Who's the real "DBU" now?

Four-star cornerback Kary Vincent Jr. dropped a top five list not too far back (it actually expanded to six) and it looks like he's finally made his decision. After narrowing down his choices to TCU, FSU, Florida, LSU, Ohio State and Texas A&M, the 5'11", 170-pound safety has come to a final choice.

He will add to the legacy of "DBU" at LSU and make Les Miles a pretty happy coach. He had over 30 offers including some from Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Georgia, Michigam and Mississippi State.

Vincent is the No. 2 cornerback in the class of 2017 and the No. 22 recruit overall. The decision was not a surprise to the Tigers' staff or LSU fans who have followed Vincent's recruitment.

"I actually silently committed to LSU my first time over there," Vincent said. "It's family over there. I feel at home with the guys. I think Coach [Les] Miles will be there a long time, despite what people say. I know LSU is a place that can develop me to be the best player on and off the field."

Vincent is also the No. 4 recruit in the state of Texas and he becomes the 11th recruit out of the ESPN 300 to verbally commit to LSU for 2017.
