Alabama's switch from Lane Kiffin to Steve Sarkisian as Alabama's offensive coordinator ahead of the team's National Championship rematch seems to have ruffled more than a few feathers.

While talking to Fox Sports, Hurts reportedly described the situation as "kind of weird."
"It was kind of a sudden change for me because it's like, you've been getting coached by this guy all year and it's a sudden change coming into probably the biggest game of the season," Hurts said at Saturday's championship game Media Day. "So it's really different, but I think we feel good about the situation we're in, and we all think that [Sarkisian] will do a great job come Monday."
"The situation we're in" doesn't exactly sound like glowing remarks on the new offensive coordinator.
While his initial thoughts didn't exactly speak comfort with Sarkisian, Hurts admits it doesn't matter who is calling the plays — it's his job to make plays:
"But at the end of the day as a player, you have to execute what's called. None of that's going to change."
The comments come after Hurts' comparison of Kiffin to Sarkisian.
It also goes against teammate Calvin Ridley's comments about Hurts liking Sarkisian:
"He told me that he likes coach Sarkisian," said Hurts' roommate, wide receiver Calvin Ridley. "... He says he's getting a lot of new things that can help him. He's watching a lot more film, breaking things more down to him. I guess he likes the coaching better."
"He's really locked in, even though he was locked in the whole season," Ridley said of Hurts. "But I feel like he really likes coach Sarkisian, and coach Sarkisian is giving him a lot of new tips, a lot of new things to get better."
No one likes change, but fans of the unbeaten Tide are hoping Hurts and Sarkisian will be on the same page Monday night at 8 p.m. against Clemson.
