This forgotten RB nearly broke the 40-yard dash record at the Combine

That's almost a record!

You may have forgotten about Georgia backup running back Keith Marshall, but Marshall just made sure that no scout forgot about him after he ran the 40-yard dash at the Combine on Friday.

Marshall was initially timed at 4.29, but it later increased to a 4.31 upon review. However, that is still the most impressive time that we have seen at the Combine so far, and it could be the best mark for the entire year. Marshall's time was just shy of the Combine record, set by running back Chris Johnson at 4.24 in 2008.

After a stellar freshman season in 2012, Marshall dealt with several injury issues for the rest of his tenure with the Bulldogs. Hopefully the 40-time and Combine can signal a positive change for his football career.
