LaVar Ball has gained more and more attention over the last couple of months for a multitude of reasons. Yesterday, Ball appeared on ESPN in a segment with Stephen A. Smith, and it caught the eye of ESPN's Kirk Herbstreit who tweeted about Ball's appearance and more.

With Ball appearing on ESPN, it comes as a slight surprise for Herbstreit to go public with his displeasure with Ball. Herbstreit is careful to note, though, that what Ball is doing is smart in the current media landscape, even if the former Buckeye great doesn't necessarily agree with it.
