The Ohio State Buckeyes and Michigan Wolverines have been on a collision course throughout the 2016 season and, finally, the two teams will meet between the white lines on Nov. 26. In advance of the game, the good folks in Las Vegas have released an initial point spread and fans of the Michigan program probably won't be happy about a "lack of respect".

Ohio State opening as a favorite comes as no surprise, as the Buckeyes have been favored throughout the year in future betting given that the game will take place in Columbus. However, this line indicates that Urban Meyer's team would be more than a field goal favorite on a neutral field, and that is something of a surprise given the similarity in profile of the two teams at 10-1 with the only blemish coming on the road in conference play.
It should be noted that the point spread could fluctuate wildly throughout the week, especially if Michigan quarterback Wilton Speight is able to play after missing the team's last game against Indiana. Still, it seems to be a lock that the Buckeyes will go off as a favorite in "The Game", and that makes a ton of sense given their dominance in the rivalry over the past several years.
Arguably the best rivalry in sports will showcase another edition on Saturday, and Las Vegas believes the Buckeyes will continue their stellar run of success.
