Lowly Jets continue trend of mediocrity after signing the team's potential next starting QB

They won't get any better with this guy.

The lowly New York Jets have their next potential starting quarterback, and he's 37-year-old Josh McCown:

Over 14 years in the NFL, McCown has played for seven separate teams. He brings experience to a young depth chart that includes second- and third-year quarterbacks Christian Hackenberg and Bryce Petty, respectively.

McCown has thrown for over 14,000 yards, 79 touchdowns and 69 interceptions over his career. He's 18-42 as a starter.
