Since the moment that Jim Harbaugh arrived in Ann Arbor, there has been something "different" about the Michigan Wolverines. Now, the program is taking that to another level, as Michigan will be the first football program ever to be directly association with Jordan Brand.

Yes, that is Michael Jordan with a "Go Blue" to welcome the Wolverines into the "Jordan family", and naturally, people are fired up about the announcement. That extends to Jim Harbaugh, who emerged from the bunker of training camp to thank MJ for the partnership.
Thanks MJ! It will be an Honor to share our sideline with you. https://t.co/ZCDIXvhD0m

In July, Michigan announced a brand new partnership with Nike that doubles as the largest collegiate apparel contract in the country. It is unclear to this point just how the deal will shake out in terms of Jordan affiliation, but the prospect of the "Jumpman" logo on Michigan football uniforms is certainly interesting, and it is fitting that Harbaugh would be associated with the first partnership of its kind.
How did this come together? It appears that Jordan actually called Harbaugh directly, and you can attempt to imagine how that conversation went. What matters, though, is that Michigan and Jordan are heading into the future together, and that should do wonders for Harbaugh on the recruiting trail.
