From the opening whistle, Michigan was light years ahead of UCF on Saturday and the end result was a 51-14 victory in front of a massive home crowd in Ann Arbor. However, the visiting Knights apparently came away with a different view of the action, as UCF head coach Scott Frost presented a very interesting version of the events in a post-game interview.

UCF coach Scott Frost: "We came in here and outhit those guys today. There's no doubt which team was hitting harder"

Yes, that is a college football coach declaring that his team "outhit those guys" after a 37-point defeat. To be (somewhat) fair, Frost's team was victimized by four blocked kicks in the game, and that certainly didn't help UCF on the scoreboard. With that said, Michigan was clearly the better team from start to finish, with a visible athletic and physical advantage over the visiting team.
This could be a statement made in order to inspire confidence in his own team but, as you may expect, the internet made fun of Frost with glee after the comments were made public. At the end of the day, it is a largely harmless quote, but this one could follow the former Nebraska quarterback and Oregon offensive coordinator around for a while as one of the crazier statements issued in recent memory.
