Nation’s top OT Jackson Carman has a clear No. 1 in his recruitment

He would certainly help any team's offensive line

Five-star offensive tackle Jackson Carman listed Ohio State as his top school for next season's recruiting class.

Carman, who is the No. 1 player from the state of Ohio and the No. 1 offensive tackle in the country, named the Buckeyes as his top school, but there are several other top programs behind Urban Meyer's team.

"If I had a list it would be Ohio State at No. 1 and Alabama, USC, Clemson and Florida State for the remainder in no order," Carman said via 247Sports.

Carman is 6'6, 290 pounds, and his interest in Ohio State isn't surprising. Urban Meyer has landed the No. 1 recruit from the state of Ohio in five of his six recruiting classes since taking over in Columbus.

Alabama, Clemson, Michigan State, Florida State and USC are right behind the Buckeyes, but Meyer is certainly the favorite to land another top prospect from inside the state of Ohio.
