Ohio State's Urban Meyer comments on job opening at LSU

Meyer has been at Ohio State since 2012.

It didn't take long for Urban Meyer's name to be linked to the job opening at LSU. Soon after head coach Les Miles was fired, it was reported that LSU would take their shot in contacting names like Meyer and FSU's Jimbo Fisher.

Meyer didn't take long to respond to those reports, as he addressed the media on Tuesday.

"No, I have not been contacted," Meyer said. "I'm going to be the coach at Ohio State."

It seems kind of absurd to think Meyer would leave Ohio State right now. Meyer is from Ohio, and he seems to be at his dream job right now. Plus, it doesn't hurt that Ohio State is already paying him a pretty penny. How much money does LSU realistically have to throw around at candidates.

At the end of the day, it is infinitely more likely that Miles joins Meyer's staff at Ohio State than Meyer bolting for Baton Rouge.
