Oklahoma running back Joe Mixon has been under a mountain of criticism in recent weeks after the video of him violently punching a woman was released to the public. Sooners head coach Bob Stoops has been under fire as well, as many are questioning why Mixon wasn't kicked off the team after the 2014 incident.
Well, this probably won't make things any better.
During Monday's Sugar Bowl against Auburn, Oklahoma players got caught celebrating with Mixon on the sideline... by pretending to punch him.
Suffice to say, many people were upset with the reaction.
Some, however, defended the actions, saying that the fake punches are just a normal celebration and likely had no intended meaning.
Mixon rushed for 91 yards and two touchdowns in the win. Mixon has yet to make a decision on whether he will return to Oklahoma or declare for the NFL Draft.
