Ever since the term was coined in the 1950s, the name of the Florida-Georgia (or Georgia-Florida depending on where you live) has been called the "World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party." The city used the name officially until 1988 and both schools along with the SEC asked CBS (the annual broadcaster of the game) to stop using the phrase in 2006.

So, for a decade we've gone on living our lives without having a real name for the rivalry and nobody seemed to mind. But it looks like someone has taken the opportunity to get in on some licensing and make up their own name for the rivalry.
This is without a doubt, one of the dumbest things I have seen in a long time. I don't think Florida or Georgia fans care about this at all and were still going to refer to the game by its original nickname. This has some people upset like Gainesville native and Sports Illustrated writer Andy Staples.
And that sparked some outrage from others as well.
So while someone will undoubtedly make money off those shirts, hopefully it's not a lot because that is such a generic and unoriginal nickname for a rivalry as epic and long-lasting as Florida-Georgia has been.
