One school just picked up its third blue-chip recruit in 24 hours

Three's company, too!

One top recruit is nice. Two is even better. But three? That is just a ridiculous haul for a 24-hour period.

The rich got richer between Friday night and Saturday afternoon, as four-star cornerback Amir Riep (5-foot-11, 185 pounds, Cincinnati, OH) announced that he was committing to Ohio State.

Riep's commitment comes on top of 2017 five-star defensive end Chase Young and 2018 four-star running back Brian Snead announcing on Friday night. The commits give Ohio State 16 commits for 2017. Surprisingly, Snead is the first commitment for the Buckeyes' 2018 class.

Riep is rated as the No. 3 recruit out of Ohio according to the 247Sports Composite. Considering that Riep had 48 total offers, it looks like head coach Urban Meyer is more than happy to keep this one in-state.

Riep helps Ohio State expand its lead at the No. 1 recruiting class in the nation.
