Oregon finally made its move to hire a coach and stole away a good one in USF's Willie Taggart. That leaves a rising program in Tampa without a head coach, but the Bulls already seem to be on the hunt for a new one.

RELATED: Oregon has reportedly found its next head coach
ESPN's Brett McMurphy is reporting that several names have popped up for the job and they are some heavy hitters:
Charlie Strong, FSU co-OC Lawrence Dawsey, Alabama OC Lane Kiffin & Ohio State DC Greg Schiano top candidates at USF, sources told @ESPN

Most of those guys have head coaching experience —- everyone but Dawsey —- so USF would be getting someone with good experience and who could pick up where Taggart left off. Strong and Kiffin both have recruiting ties to the area so could realistically get picked for that purpose while Schiano coached the professional Tampa Bay Buccaneers for a few years in the same neighborhood.
