PFF: One rival DB ranks ahead of Jabrill Peppers heading into the NFL draft

There's a lot of depth at this position.

Michigan defensive star Jabrill Peppers was the only defensive Heisman finalist, but he isn't even the top rated player at his position, according to Pro Football Focus.

On Pro Football Focus' latest Big Board, they have Peppers as the No. 3 safety in the class. LSU's Jamal Adams is the top rated safety, and Ohio State's Malik Hooker is just ahead of Peppers.

Hooker intercepted seven passes for the Buckeyes last season, and he returned three of those for touchdowns. Peppers had 13 tackles for loss, one interception and three sacks last season for Michigan.
