Police reportedly recommend charges against Cardinals safety after woman found unconcious

The NFL vet is in hot water.

According to AZCentral.com, Scottsdale police have recommended reckless injury and disorderly conduct charges against Arizona Cardinals safety Chris Clemons after a woman was found unconscious in a parking lot, bleeding from her mouth and nose.

An incident between a man and woman brought police to the parking lot, where they were intercepted by police, questioned and allowed to leave, per the report.

That's when police reportedly found the woman, who said she had taken a "couple of swings" at another woman before she was hit and knocked out. According to the report, Clemons said she was hit by another woman, but he did not know who that woman was.

Clemons has played for the Miami Dolphins and Arizona Cardinals over his six-ear NFL career, registering 283 tackles, two forced fumbles and four interceptions.
