Jalen Hurd had missed the past couple weeks of games and Kamara had really broken out with 312 all-purpose yards against Texas A&M and was the only Volunteer to score against Alabama last weekend. The junior running back is the latest in a way too long line of Tennessee players to go down with injury. He is expected to miss two to four weeks.
Cam Sutton, Jalen Hurd, Jalen Reeves-Maybin, Darrin Kirkland Jr., Jack Jones and Micah Abernathy have all missed time at some point this season, which undoubtedly cost them the Texas A&M game and would have likely made the Bama game bearable to watch.
Kamara has rushed for 312 yards this season and three touchdowns. He also leads all SEC running backs in receptions and receiving yards with 22 catches and 260 yards. He's also has three receiving touchdowns.
