Report: We have a date for Ronda Rousey's "most likely" return to UFC

After all the rumors, is Ronda Rousey finally set to make her return?

UFC president Dana White is adamant that Ronda Rousey will indeed return to the UFC. The only question has been when.

According to Fox Sports (which has a working relationship with UFC and holds exclusive TV rights to UFC's product), the organization is currently in talks with Rousey to return "before the end of the year," with the "most likely landing spot" at UFC 207 on December 30 in Las Vegas.

If that return is indeed accurate, we'd presume Amanda Nunes will not be on the soon announced November 12 bout in New York City.

If Nunes does end up fighting Julianna Pena in New York, the options for Rousey would likely be a rematch against Holly Holm, a superfight against Cris Cyborg or a rematch against Miesha Tate.

And when she does return, no matter who she fights, we'd tend to agree with White that it could be the biggest event in UFC history.
