Former Ole Miss defensive lineman Robert Nkemdiche had a pretty tumultuous end to his collegiate career in Oxford. Last December, Nkemdiche fell 15 feet from an Atlanta hotel window on a Saturday evening. Subsequently after he was charged with marijuana possession after police reportedly found "seven rolled cigarettes" of marijuana in the hotel room that Nkemdiche fell from. He was suspended for the Rebels' bowl game against Oklahoma State in the Sugar Bowl on Jan. 2.

Following the incident, Fox Sports reported that Nkemdiche had taken "synthetic marijuana on the night of the fall, substance that does not show up on a normal drug test. Nkemdiche released a statement following the allegations denying the report from Fox Sports, saying that he "does not use synthetic drugs." Participating in the NFL Scouting Combine this weekend in Indianapolis, Nkemdiche gave some insight on what exactly happened the night he fell from the hotel window in Atlanta, specifically with regards to what he was under the influence of.
#OleMiss DL Robert Nkemdiche asked if he was under the influence at the time of his fall. "Yes, I was drinking." Not on drugs.

Another interesting, and potentially damning tidbit, is the fact that Nkemdiche even admitted that his former Ole Miss teammate — projected first round offensive tackle pick Laremy Tunsil — was also with him the night of the fall. He also claims he was charged with marijuana possession because he was the only one who was willing to get in trouble.
Nkemdiche said OL Laremy Tunsil was among those in hotel room.

Robert Nkemdiche says he was charged with drug possession because nobody in the hotel room "wanted to take the fall." Really.

Tunsil was never previously mentioned as having any involvement with Nkemdiche's incident last December. Given that Tunsil has one of the highest draft stocks of any of the offensive linemen in this year's draft class, there will probably more that comes out from this.
