Ronda Rousey has overcome one major hurdle on her road back to the Octagon

Rumors are developing that she could return from her first loss in her UFC career.

After Ronda Rousey's devastating loss to Holly Holm last November, the former bantamweight champion noted she had contemplated suicide in one of the more vulnerable points of her career.

According to Rousey's boyfriend, Travis Browne, the former champ has her life back on track and is ready to get back into the UFC.

Rousey won't fight at UFC 205 in New York, but rumors are developing that she could return from her first loss in her UFC career in December.

Her opponent, however, has much to do with who fights between now and then. If Amanda Nunes defends her title in New York in October, it's doubtful she'll be good for the turnaround two months later.

In that case, Rousey's list of potential opponents could be a rematch with Holm, a rematch with Miesha Tate or (and the most doubtful of all) a superfight with Cris Cyborg.
