Coming away with a 38-10 win sounds like a good day at the office for most teams, but only one team has Nick Saban and Nick Saban was anything but happy after Alabama beat Western Kentucky 38-10 Saturday. In fact Saban was pretty upset with his team's play and effort Saturday regardless of the score.

Saban told reporters after the game that special teams and Jalen Hurts were "OK". He said that players around Hurts had to play better and that he is not happy with the penalties at all.
Nick Saban: "You usually improve a lot between the first game and second game. I was a little disappointed in some areas of our team."

Saban: "I don't know if I've been this disappointed after a win, maybe ever."

Saban knows that beating Western Kentucky by 28 points won't mean anything next week against Ole Miss if the Tide continue to play as sloppy as they did Saturday. Saban did seem optimistic that many of these wounds have been self-inflicted and that Alabama can work them out in practice.
Saban: A lot of the penalties are self-inflicted wounds. Lack of discipline from the players. It's my fault. Those things can be improved.
