Almost immediately after firing Gus Bradley, Jacksonville Jaguars GM Dave Caldwell moved forward with his search for a new head coach.

Caldwell officially announced Bradley's ouster to the media Monday, and at the same time mentioned his interest in speaking with former Jags and New York Giants head coach Tom Coughlin about rejoining the team.
ESPN recently reported that the 70-year-old, two-time Super Bowl winner, who started his coaching career with Jacksonville in 1995, would like to coach again.
And the Jaguars would appear to be the perfect fit. Coughlin owns a home in the area and his foundation, the Tom Coughlin Jay Fundthat provides financial support to help families tackle childhood cancer, is based in Jacksonville.

Coughlin went 68-60 over eight season with the Jags, leading them to the AFC championship game in 1986, as well four straight playoff appearances.
He was fired by former Jacksonville owner Wayne Weaver in 2002, reportedly for his miscues as a general manager, which he took on in addition to his coaching duties.
