Four-star QB already promising 'at least 2' five-star recruits will join one super stacked class

That's a pretty big promise.

Tate Martell is a four-star dual threat quarterback already committed to Ohio State. However, he's convinced that the Buckeyes aren't done on the recruiting trail.

The Buckeyes just got four-star linebacker Peter Werner on Sunday and if Martell is right in his prediction, that would easily give Ohio State the best recruiting class in 2017.

Per 247Sports, Ohio State remains in contention with the following five-stars:

  • 5-star DT Marvin Wilson
  • 5-star RB Cam Akers
  • 5-star DE Jeffrey Okudah
  • 5-star WR Donovan Peoples-Jones
  • 5-star CB Darnay Holmes

Getting any two of those guys and then potentially four out of the five would be one of the most incredible recruiting coups seen in recent years. It would also mean that OSU would have 10 recruits rated as five-stars in the class, which is just an astounding number.
