The details of an alleged domestic abuse from former Michigan standout will make you sick

This is incredible disturbing.

NFL Draft hopeful and former Michigan cornerback Jourdan Lewis was charged with a misdemeanor count of domestic abuse last week. Lewis pleaded not guilty to the charge and while there were reportedly no injuries before, it seems that new information may change that thinking.

According to the police report received by the The Detroit Free Press, officers took a statement from Lewis' girlfriend at the of the incident indicating violence against her, including being dragged by her neck and held on the living room floor.

Asked whether he put his hands around her throat, he responded that "he may have grabbed it while trying to get her off him but had no intentions to hurt (the woman). Lewis stated at no time was he trying to assault (the woman), he was trying to leave."

Lewis pleaded not guilty during the arraignment earlier in the month and denies his girlfriend's allegations. He is expected to attend Michigan's pro day though on Friday to try and help his draft grade, which has him in the second or third round right now. This incident surely won't make that any better though.
