Tim Tebow's first workout in front of scouts and team representatives had some mixed reviews with most people agreeing his raw power was a perfect "80" and everything else kind of needed work. However, that might have been good enough for one team to give him an offer to play for them. ESPN SportsNation co-host Marcellus Wiley apparently has some inside information on that.
Bob Fescoe of 610 KCSP says otherwise, however.

Tebow faced live batting practice from former Major League relievers David Aardsma and Chad Smith. His performance left people opinions all over the spectrum.
There's always one man who will defend Tebow to the death though and he made sure to chime in on all of this.

It wouldn't really be a Tim Tebow story without his own protector and savior in Skip Bayless, right? The Royals have dabbled with former football players and it seemed to work out for them a fair amount of times. They drafted future NFL pros Archie Manning, Steve Bartkowski, Dan Marino, John Elway, and Deion Sanders, and of course, famously drafted and signed Heisman Trophy winner Bo Jackson, who became an All-Star outfielder for them. That seems pretty good if you ask me.
The Royals are also big fans of having a clubhouse full of "good character" guys so having Tebow might appeal to them in that sense as well. It's quite difficult to pick up a game you haven't played since high school at Tebow's age of 29, but if there's one guy who is willing to work on his game it's definitely Tebow.
