UNC overcomes B1G start to beat Wisconsin in Maui

This game almost got too B1G.

No. 4 North Carolina took on No. 16 Wisconsin and the first half looked very much like a Big Ten score of 29-21. However, the Tar Heels would heat up and blitz the Badgers in the second half on their way to a 71-56 win.

Joel Berry was on fire lighting up the defense for 22 points, three assists and three rebounds, but also got some help from three other double digit scorers. Kennedy Meeks had a double-double at halftime and finished with 15 points and 16 rebounds while Isaiah Hicks had 14 points and five board and Justin Jackson had 12 points.

The Heels will face No. 3 Indiana at their house for the ACC/Big Ten Challenge next Wednesday.
