Steve Sarkisian's drinking problem is so bad that he allegedly did this

Steve Sarkisian was allegedly intoxicated at a USC event in late August.

More bad news is reportedly coming from the Steve Sarkisian and USC situation. By now, you may have heard the news that Trojan head coach Steve Sarkisian would be taking a leave of absence from the team, just a couple of days after USC lost 17-12 in the Thursday night game at Washington. Sarkisian held a press conference in late August to inform the media he would undergo treatment to find out if he had a drinking problem. In August, he was shown in a video as visibly intoxicated during a USC event.

Now, new news has broken as of Sunday evening — Inside USC is reporting that the situation could be worse than we originally thought. According to their report, Sarkisian was intoxicated during the Trojans' game against Arizona State on Sept. 26.

To add to this, roughly 15 minutes later, Inside USC reported that players smelled alcohol on Sarkisian's breath as recent as the team meeting the Trojans had on Sunday morning.

USC offensive coordinator Clay Helton has been named the interim head coach in Sarkisian's absence. FanBuzz will continue to keep updates on any new information regarding this matter.
