Eason was splitting time under center with senior Greyson Lambert, and that rotation continued into the fourth quarter. And when Georgia needed a clutch throw the most, it was the true freshman — not the senior — that delivered it.

In his debut, Eason completed 8-of-12 passes for 133 yard and one touchdown. We was fantastic in his role against a good defense, and he definitely looked like the real deal.
Georgia plays Nicholls State next week. It will definitely be interesting to see if Eason is tabbed as the starter for that game, and for games going forward.
