Jack Draper Vomits Twice During US Open Match Vs. No. 1 Ranked Jannik Sinner

During the US Open semi-finals, Jack Draper was facing off with No. 1 world ranked tennis player Jannik Sinner.

Considering the heat wave that is flowing across America, Draper clearly felt the humidity in New York, as he threw up two different times during the second set.

At first the 22-year-old British tennis player did not seek any medical attention and tried to play through it, then he later received ice packs in attempt to cool off.

The announcers talked about the incident, as the vomiting was caught on the TV broadcast.

"Sometimes when it's humid as it obviously is with all the sweat. You can almost drink too much water and it sits in your stomach and I think that's twice that Draper has vomited," Tim Henman said.

The other commentator, Jonathan Overend, added: "Poor guy. I mean, you feel like that's what's happening, you've got to clear it up yourself, you've got to carry on playing against the world No. 1."

To point out, this is not the first time Draper has been sick on court, as he previously threw up after a dramatic five-set match victory at the Australian Open back in January.

In view of today, Sinner, 23, was the heavy favorite heading into the match (-575), and ended up winning in three sets (7-5, 7-6, 6-2) vs. No. 25 ranked Draper.

That is to say, the Italian superstar has been visibly dealing with his own wrist injury, yet has played through it, as he is attempting to reach his second Grand Slam final this year.

Now Sinner will face-off with whoever wins between Frances Tiafoe vs. Taylor Fritz in the other semi-final matchup; the championship will be held Sunday, September 8 at Arthur Ashe stadium.
